Life coaching is an opportunity to clarify:
What you really want out of your life
Who you are at your core
What is truly important to you
How you can create meaningful change
The relationship between us, coach and client, is a partnership among equals. As a client, you determine the direction of the coaching conversation, and what you’d like to get out of it. You are the expert on your own life and what is going to work for you.
Coaching is not a quick fix, and a lot of the work happens outside of our sessions. The progress you make builds over time, and it can be quite dramatic.
As a coach I support you by giving you space to think out loud, asking questions to help you to find clarity, and helping you to recognize your strengths, values and limiting beliefs so that you can expand your view of what is possible.

ADHD Coaching is life coaching through an ADHD lens. ADHD coaches have a deep understanding of ADHD. This is so important. When ADHD is misunderstood, it gets mislabeled as character flaws like laziness, not caring, not trying, disrespect and so on. An ADHD coach can help you to recognize what is really going on with your brain without misattributing your behavior to personal character flaws.
As an ADHD coach, I share my knowledge of ADHD where it is relevant to our conversations or specifically requested. If the information resonates with you, excellent! If it doesn’t, that is perfectly fine, too. Remember, you are the expert on what works for you. There is no universal solution. One of the greatest perks of working with a coach is that strategies can be tailored to you specifically.
ADHD coaching puts special emphasis on strengths, barriers and supports. Recognizing your strengths and how you can utilize them to propel you forward creates a sense of agency and hope. Considering barriers increases your likelihood of success because when barriers come up you know how to handle them. Then, adding in supports, such as rewards, accountability buddies, and check lists, helps to keep you moving toward your goals.

At the beginning of each coaching conversation I will ask you what topic you would like to discuss during the coaching session and what outcome you would like to aim for by the end of the session. The topic of our sessions is always up to you, so be sure to have a topic in mind before the session starts. Once we have established the topic we’ll do some exploring, working our way toward the agreed upon outcome.
Through the coaching conversation we will discover your values, what gives you purpose, barriers including limiting beliefs which may be keeping you from reaching your potential, and strategies to move you toward your goals.
If at any point you feel that we are going down a path that is not helpful or not in the direction of the decided upon outcome, you are welcome and encouraged to share that with me.
At the end of the session, we will have identified an action that you can commit to taking that will bring you closer to your goal. Then we will reflect on whether we have reached the desired outcome and what progress was made in the session.
